Linseed Oil feeding guidelines
When you start feeding, begin with a little less than the lowest recommended rate, and gradually increase up to the full amount over a few days. Take a week to increase up to the highest rate e.g. for performance animals. Doing so will allow your dog’s digestive function to adapt efficiently and make the most of the Linseed Oil.
Very small dog up to 10kg:- 5 ml per day
Medium size dog 10-20kg:- 5-10 ml per day
Large size dog 20-30kg:- 10-15 ml per day
Dogs 30kg and over:- 15 ml per day
Divide the dosage in two, morning and night, to avoid diarrhoea.
Dosage can be increased to double for pregnant or lactating bitches.
Or feed as recommended by your vet or canine therapist.
Light will damage omega-3 so for best storage keep the containers in a cool, dark place. The fridge is ideal. Use within 75 days of opening.
